The Shed is a nonprofit cultural organization that commissions, develops, and presents original works of art, across all disciplines, for all audiences. The Shed’s Bloomberg Building an innovative 200,000-square-foot (18,500 m²) structure can physically transform to support artists’ most ambitious ideas.

Cimolai was appointed as the façade contractor to design, furnish and install the main envelope package comprising of unitized curtain wall, stainless steel cable net system, skylights, automated operable bi-folding doors at McCourt, guillotine doors at the deployable structure, fully glazed storefront inclusive of swing doors and lobby glazing and others envelope packages for a total amount of 10,000 m2 of façade.
